You read that correctly. Rocking-2-gether is wooden rocking chair designed by Paul Kweton for people and their pets. It’s an integrated cat/dog house that combines the idea of shelter and body relaxation. The idea is to “relax and spend time with your cat or dog.”
While we certainly appreciate innovative wood workings, there’s been quite a bit of mixed feelings on this particular piece. In the original post, many people voiced their concerns over the possible “tail hazard” this chair might post. One person commented, “Is a nice idea, though a bit dangerous for the pet. It would be very easy for your pets tail to get squished when rocking.” While some commentors were a bit more adamant about the danger, as one stated, “Too dangerous!!! What happens if my little pet moves the tail under and ahead the seat and I get up?”
Aside from the possible physical injury to the pet, some voiced concerns over other things like pet motion sickness, and many stated that their pets would not enjoy a “rocking motion” at all.
Still, there were a few people that loved the idea of sitting outside with a chair that could give your pet some shade.
So what do you think? Is this a WIN or a FAIL? Tell us in the comments.
